Westgate Shopping Centre is a 35,000 square-metre shopping mall in Westlands, Nairobi, comprising around 70 shops and a six-unit multiplex cinema, with parking for over 700 cars. The mall first opened in 2007 and remains one of Nairobi’s best-known retail destinations, anchored today by a Carrefour hypermarket alongside a wide mix of local and international retailers.

CED provided civil and structural engineering services for the project. The result is a large-scale retail centre engineered to support high foot traffic, multiple anchor tenants, and extensive parking capacity in one of Nairobi’s premier shopping destinations.
