Project Summary
Villa Rosa Kempinski sits along Chiromo Road, just 3 km from Nairobi’s CBD, near the National Museum, the University of Nairobi, and the Westlands shopping district. The facility rises fourteen floors, comprising three basement levels holding up to 300 cars, the ground floor, and ten upper floors, spanning over 33,500 square metres. The hotel offers 200 rooms and suites, including a Presidential Suite on the top floor, with a grand ballroom seating 500 people. Construction began in 2009 and completed in September 2013.
CED provided civil and structural engineering services for the project. The result is a fourteen-storey luxury hotel engineered around a tight urban site, with three levels of basement parking supporting a major five-star hospitality development in the heart of Nairobi.
