Glacier Products Limited, the manufacturer behind the Dairyland brand, expanded operations to Tilisi, a mixed-use master-planned development in Limuru, acquiring land and constructing new facilities there. Glacier Products was founded in 1979 as an ice cream manufacturer and has grown into a leading producer of ice cream, chocolate, sauces, and whipping cream across the East African region. The move formed part of Tilisi’s wider push to offer warehousing and manufacturing space, having set aside 86 acres of its 400-acre master-planned development for warehousing, repackaging, and light manufacturing facilities.
CED provided civil and structural engineering services for the project. The result is a purpose-built warehouse and manufacturing facility engineered to support Dairyland’s cold-chain production and distribution operations.
