Project Overview
Project Summary
The Trade and Development Bank (TDB) Tower is an office development on Lenana Road in Kilimani, Nairobi, developed by the Trade and Development Bank, formerly known as the Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank (PTA Bank), occupying a 1.052-acre site. The 19-storey tower features three basement levels for parking and comprises conferencing facilities, office space, a coffee shop and restaurant, a plaza, retail units, and sky gardens. The tower reached completion in June 2022 and now serves as the permanent Eastern Africa headquarters of the Trade and Development Bank. The project received a preliminary EDGE certificate from GBCI, one of the early pool of EDGE-certified projects in Kenya.
CED provided civil and structural engineering services for the project. The result is a 19-storey headquarters tower engineered to support Grade A office space, conferencing facilities, and sustainability-certified operations in Nairobi’s Kilimani business district.
