The new Children’s Hospital offers paediatric care for infants, children, and adolescents in en-suite rooms designed to encourage parents to stay alongside their child, reducing anxiety and supporting recovery. The hospital has since gone on to become a specialised Childhood Cancer Centre and expanded further with the KPJ Medical Centre.
CED provided civil and structural engineering services for the project. The result is a series of purpose-built blocks and extensions engineered to support administrative, diagnostic, critical care, and paediatric functions across one of Nairobi’s most established medical institutions.
