Project Overview
Project Summary
The International School of Kenya completed construction of a new 400-metre track with grandstands and changing facilities, on its 40-acre campus on the outskirts of Nairobi. The facility was formally opened with a ribbon-cutting by acclaimed Kenyan sprinter Ferdinand Omanyala in November 2023, forming part of the school’s ongoing facilities master plan, which is set to accommodate approximately 1,300 students as it completes.
CED provided civil and structural engineering services for the project. The result is a competition-standard 400-metre athletics track engineered to support grandstands and changing facilities for one of Nairobi’s leading international schools.
