Project Summary
One Africa Place stands at the junction of Chiromo Road and Rhapta Road in Westlands, Nairobi. Designed by BAA Architects, the 24-storey tower rises with a bullet-shaped profile that has made it one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks. It offers 138,000 square feet of grade-A office space, a triple-height entrance lobby, double-glazed solar-efficient windows, and mechanised parking across 300 bays.
CED provided civil and structural engineering services for the project. The result is a structure that pairs architectural ambition with the strength and stability needed for a 24-storey commercial tower in Nairobi’s fast-growing Westlands district.
