Project Summary
The Oval is a mixed-use development located in Parklands, Westlands Constituency, along Ring Road, with construction commencing in 2010 and completing in 2012. The building comprises 24,500 square metres of office and retail space arranged over nine levels around a central skylight atrium, with six panorama lifts serving the office floors and skybridges spanning the upper atrium levels. The Oval was runner-up for Best Commercial Building Nairobi in 2016.
CED provided civil and structural engineering services for the project. The result is a distinctive atrium-centred development built to support Grade A office and retail space in one of Westlands’ most prestigious addresses.
